“Draw What Makes You Giggle” Contest

Giggle Magazine, Alachua County’s Premiere Parenting Magazine, is excited to launch the “Draw What Makes You Giggle” Contest! We are hosting this drawing contest between the dates of April 10, 2017 and May 1, 2017, and we want you to be a part of it!

Four winning children will receive tickets to the Crayola© Experience in Orlando, FL for their whole family (up to 10 tickets), by drawing what makes them giggle. Winners will also have the opportunity to pose with their artwork in the June/July Issue of Giggle Magazine in Gainesville, Florida.

Submission Brackets:

Preschool
Elementary (Grades K-5)
Middle School (Grades 6-8)
High School (Grades 9-12)

Voting will take place between the dates of April 25, 2017 and April 30, 2017 on our website, and will be open to, but not limited to our readers and followers on our social media platforms. We encourage parents and community members to vote and share their children’s artwork!

“Draw What Makes You Giggle” Contest Official Rules

  • Participants must be between the grades of preschool and 12th grade. (Submission brackets are preschool, elementary school, middle school and high school).
  • All submitted artwork must be original.
  • Participants are allowed to submit previously created work.
  • Only one entry per child is permitted.
  • There will be only one winner per submission bracket.
  • All artwork must be submitted by April 23, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. EST to be considered.
  • Voting will take place between April 25, 2017 and April 30, 2017.
  • For voting, we will only show the child’s first name and last initial.  
  • Voters can only vote once per day.
  • Winners will be announced on May 1, 2017 on social media and contacted by email and phone. (There will be four winners; one winner per submission bracket).
  • Winners must respond within 48 hours to claim their prize. (Winners will be sent two emails and called once before we reach out to a second place winner).
  • All winners must be available to be photographed in the first two weeks of May during after-school hours (May 1, 2017 – May 12, 2017).
  • Giggle Magazine is not responsible for any lost or stolen Crayola© Experience tickets.
  • Irving Publications LLC/Giggle Magazine/Wellness360 Magazine employees and family members of employees are not eligible.
  • Winners will receive up to 10 tickets for admission to the Crayola© Experience. All other expenses are the responsibility of the winners.These expenses could include, but are not limited to, parking/gas/tolls/food/gifts/products/other services and experiences that are offered that may be an additional cost to the ticket holder.
  • Tickets will not be mailed. You must be able to make arrangements for your tickets to be picked up at the Irving Publications office. Our address is:
