Free Books and Resources Now Available to Eligible Florida Students

The New World’s Reading Initiative is a state-supported program that is now offering free books and resources to eligible Florida Students.
Administered by the UF Lastinger Center for Learning, this initiative aims to improve literacy among Florida students by providing at-home tools to support reading and learning.
Books ship to families between October and June each school year. To be eligible, children must be a VPK-5th-grade student who is not meeting grade-level expectations in reading and is in a Florida VPK program, public school or charter school.
