11th Annual Red Shoe Affair, Presented by Audi Gainesville

Put on your red shoes as the Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida hosts it's annual "Red Shoe Affair" in support of the seriously ill children and families who stay at our House. RMHCNCF welcomes over 700 friends, advocates, and supporters to the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center for an evening of wonderful food, drinks, and dancing. Many tremendous items and experiences will be available to take home during the silent and live auctions, the proceeds of which directly support the current and future families of the Ronald McDoanld House! Since 1982, RMHCNCF has served families from around the world, providing a Home for those coming to our community as they care for their seriously ill child at our children's hospital. Our House is built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child - not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head at night to rest. We serve close to 1,000 families a year in our 31-bedroom House, with an average length of stay surpassing 91 days, but we turn away over 2,700 families and maintain an active waitlist of 87. In August of 2023, RMHCNCF will be moving into a newly renovated, 50 family-suite home that will allow us to serve close to 800 more families each year!
