Celebrate with us the 30th annual Native Plant Sale!
Take advantage of a wide offering of native north Florida plants during the 2019 Spring Native Plant Sale. Native plants are adapted to drought and the heat, which helps reduce water consumption from irrigation, require less upkeep and help save money. The Spring Native Plant Sale is at Morningside Nature Center Saturday, April 20 from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and is open to the public. The sale day will include nature walks, wildflowers walks and a plant lecture, check back for details!
This celebratory sale also features Earth Day festivities including music, food ($), environmental booths and guided walks on Saturday morning. The park offers a park-a-plant service, which makes for easy hands-free shopping.
Including a Free Bird Walk, Native Plant Walk, Insect Show-and-Tell, and Insect Walk.
To join the Friends of Nature Parks, please visit www.friendsofnatureparks.org. To join the Florida Native Plant Society, please visit their website at http://paynesprairie.fnpschapters.org/.
