DESCRIPTION
Boo at the Zoo is Gainesville's favorite Halloween treat for families. The students and staff transform the zoo into a spooky but safe trick or treating event for the whole family. Admission to the event is one canned good per person. Cans collected help two charities, Gainesville Harvest and Catholic Charities, which feed families in need from our community.
In addition, entertainment is provided by Danscompany of Gainesville which performs their "Thriller" trilogy several times throughout the event. Domino's Pizza will be on hand to provide refreshments and food for a small fee. There will be an interactive Kid Zone sponsored by Fun 4 Gator Kids!
The zoo is scheduled to be closed from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. in order to prepare and transform the zoo into 10 areas with 14 different candy stations that will be decorated in themes from children’s classics and fan favorites. Come hang out with Woody & Buzz, Harry Potter, The Incredibles, and many more favorites! Bring a camera so you don't miss out on a great photo opportunity!
The Zoo will open at 3 p.m. on October 31, 2018.
