Five Points of Life Kids Marathon

The 11th Annual Five Points Kids Marathon Gainesville will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017. We hope to see this event continue to grow in our community, bringing the challenges and rewards of fitness to children from Kindergarten through 8th Grade.  The Kids Marathon series has expanded to ten cities and reached over 4,000 children in 2016.  We look forward to continuing the growth of the Kids Marathon and creating the “Donation Generation.”

What is the Kids Marathon?

This is an extension of the Five Points of Life Marathon which is on Sunday, February 26, 2017. The goal of the Kids Marathon is to promote good health and physical fitness by giving kids the opportunity to accomplish the goal of running an entire 26.2 miles, just like marathoners! The difference is that the kids will be running and training the distance between now and race day. They will complete the final 1.2 mile run on Saturday, February 25, 2017.

Eligibility

Kids in kindergarten through 8th grade are eligible. Kids must register and have completed 25 miles prior to Saturday, February 25.
