Lubee Bat Conservancy is excited to welcome everyone to our 14th Annual Florida Bat Festival held Saturday, October 20, 10-5. Visit with our Winged Crusaders, Superhero Bats! Find out how bats from around the world are your everyday superheroes!
THE BEER GARDEN AT BATFEST IS $25 ONLINE and $28 AT GATE; festival entry included.
The festival is an opportunity for guests to view the world's largest bats, tour the conservancy grounds, and enjoy the great outdoors. This family friendly event features activities, games, live music, educational exhibits, and a raffle table featuring items from all over Florida! The Kids Zone area features numerous Bounce Houses provided by Space Walk of Gainesville and face painting by Fabulous Faces.
Explore the festivities while learning what makes bats Superheroes! Life-size displays will educate guests on the incredible abilities of our nocturnal allies. We also encourage guests of all ages to wear their favorite superhero costume. Ten gift certificates for children and adults will be handed out to the best superhero costumes. It doesn’t have to be Halloween to dress up, have fun at BAT FEST!
