Special Needs Resource Expo

This free event is an opportunity for parents and professionals to connect with and discover the wonderful resources that Alachua County and the surrounding area has to offer its Special Needs Community: those with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, developmental delays, behavioral physical disabilities, anxiety, bullying issues, abuse, and more.

There will be a diverse mix of exhibitors present that offer resources for children and young adults: parent support groups, medical and therapeutic services, deaf awareness, educational supports, advocacy services, recreational programs, vocational and residential programs, and much more.
The afternoon will also offer some family fun time:

- Local author & Children’s Advocate, Kandra Albury
- Superheroes for Hope
- Local Fire Department with a Fire Truck
- Beau the Therapy Dog
- Obstacle Course with Balance 180
- HOPE - Horses Helping People, Inc
- Free Handouts for Parents & Children
- Food Trucks: Cilantro Tacos, PDQ, and Hyppo! (Food is not free)
- Free Raffle for prizes
