DESCRIPTION
The Florida Museum of Natural History is hosting a demonstration day by the “VR for the Social Good” class to promote the research and development of virtual and augmented reality applications. The class will share more than 15 demonstrations of social good projects and immersive stories focused on Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. The course aims to provide students with tools and resources to pursue a future with this technology. Previous projects have allowed visitors to see through the eyes of a baby sea turtle and tour the University of Florida campus.
