ACPS Will Hold Second Telephone Town Hall Meeting on May 28

On Thursday, May 28, Alachua County Public Schools will have its second Telephone Town Hall Meeting from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. The meeting will discuss the impact that COVID-19 has had on our schools, students and staff.

“At the beginning of the meeting, you will receive an automated phone call inviting you to stay on the line to participate in the town hall,” according to Jackie Johnson, Public Information Officer for ACPS. “You’ll be able to ask questions or just listen in. The meeting will also be live-streamed on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCydIqRtzUHvNlsReBrAu9nw”

The Telephone Town Hall Meeting will be hosted by Superintendent Karen Clarke, and listeners will have a chance to ask questions. You can register your preferred name and phone number for the meeting by clicking here. Registration for the meeting will end at 4:15 p.m. on May 28.
