Family Guide to CANVAS

The Alachua County Council of PTAs (ACCPTA) understands that at-home learning and using CANVAS is a new thing for most parents. That’s why they have created a family guide to CANVAS with help from UF Professor Trysh Travis.

CANVAS is a website that students and teachers are using for online teaching and learning. Many schools and universities use CANVAS, including the University of Florida. Professor Travis and her colleagues created this guide in multiple languages to help parents learn the ins and outs of this website so they are better prepared to help their students succeed throughout the semester!

The guide will go over how families can access the CANVAS website, the difference between CANVAS and ZOOM and how your child will be using CANVAS during school every day, according to the ACCPTA’s website. To access the complete family guide to CANVAS in nine different languages, click here! Also, visit ACPS Canvas Family Support for additional help and support.
