Looking for a refreshing snack to make with your kids? With the Fourth of July coming up, it’s the perfect time to add an extra “pop” to your week with these easy popsicle recipes.
Red, White and Blue Yogurt Popsicles
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cut strawberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- 2 cups Greek vanilla yogurt
- Popsicle molds
Directions:
- Create a layer of blueberries in the bottom of the mold.
- Add a layer of yogurt to create a second layer.
- Place a few strawberries to create a third layer.
- Add another layer of yogurt and repeat until the mold is full. Freeze.
- Run the mold under warm water to loosen popsicles.
Berry Blast Popsicle
Ingredients:
- Blueberries
- Raspberries
- Strawberries
- Coconut water
- Popsicle molds
Directions:
- Cut up strawberries.
- Drop blueberries, raspberries and pieces of strawberries into popsicle molds.
- Pour coconut water into the mold until full.
- Place in the freezer for several hours or until frozen.
- Remove from the freezer and loosen the popsicles from the molds.
Flag Popsicles
Ingredients:
- Red Gatorade
- Blue Gatorade
- White Gatorade,
- Popsicle molds
Directions:
- Fill the mold 1/3 full with red Gatorade and freeze.
- Create the second layer with white Gatorade by filling up the next third and freeze.
- Fill the remainder of the mold with blue Gatorade and freeze.
- Remove from the freezer and enjoy!
