“Captain Underpants” Author and Illustrator Hosts Creative Time for FREE!

“Captain Underpants” author and illustrator Dav Pilkey is collaborating with the Library of Congress to bring a creative outlet to children and families during the COVID-19 pandemic each week.

The videos will showcase creative tips and encourage kids, and adults, to try their hand at drawing while they are at home.

According to the Library of Congress website, “Dav Pilkey at Home will feature new video content created by “Captain Underpants” author himself on Friday mornings at 8 a.m. ET on social media channels and the websites of the Library and Scholastic, the global children’s publishing, education and media company.”

Starting on April 1, free activities for families will be available to online from the Library’s collection and additional videos and content will be shared  throughout the week and will include downloadable activities and more for families and kids.
