11th Shakespeare Festival at Millhopper Montessori School (MMS)

Millhopper Montessori School (MMS) middle school students will present re-written scenes from Twelfth Night at our biennial Shakespeare Festival. The following scenes will be performed, according to the MMS media release:
Act I Scene 2, and Scene 3 (performed by the 8th graders)
Act I, Scene 4, and Scene 5 (performed by the 6th graders)
Act III, Scene 4 (performed by the 7th graders)
“The Shakespeare Festival will also include performances of monologues from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Much Ado About Nothing. It will begin with the Prologue of Romeo and Juliet and end with the entire class performing Puck’s final monologue from A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” according to the MMS media release. “The event is produced by Ms. Sylvia Aslanian, the Drama, Debate, and Technology/STEM teacher at MMS. Ms. Sylvia has been teaching at MMS since 1994 and has directed the award-winning Spotlight Kids Performing Arts drama club for over 20 years. The club is a part of the International Junior Thespians, Troupe #88928, and is designed for serious thespians who enjoy competing.”
