The Annual Newberry Watermelon Festival is Happening This Weekend!

The Newberry Watermelon Festival is an old tradition in Newberry, 75 years old to be exact! This year, the festival will continue on Saturday, June 20, as the small town comes together for the 75th time!

At the Newberry Watermelon Festival, you can expect live entertainment, vendors, food trucks, kids’ activities and lots of watermelons! This year, the festival will be held in Country Way Town Square, 1739 SW 248th Drive, Newberry, FL 32669. The festival will begin at 9 a.m., with the watermelon parade to follow at 10:30 a.m. Parking is $5 per car, according to the festival’s Facebook page!

The festival will last until 3:30 p.m. but come back for live music at 6 p.m. from the Ronny McKinley Band. Visit newberrywatermelonfestival.com for more information!
