As Florida continues the reopening process, the LEGOLAND® Florida Resort is hoping to reopen on June 1 after it gets permission from the state.
After a virtual Winter Haven City Commission meeting, LEGOLAND® general manager Rex Jackson explained what measures the park would take in regards to sanitation and social distancing. The park got local permission to reopen from the Polk County Commission and Bradley T. Dantzler, Winter Haven Mayor. Now, the park is just waiting on permission from the state with hopes that it can reopen on June 1.
According to the LEGOLAND® website, the LEGOLAND® Pirate Island Hotel is scheduled to open on June 1, 2020. The final decision about the park will be posted here on LEGOLAND® Florida Resort’s updates page.
