AMC Theaters Will Reopen

After being closed for months after the onset of COVID-19, Regal Cinemas and AMC Theaters will reopen this week for the first time.

Regal Cinemas will reopen this week on August 21 with new health and safety measures. In all locations, both AMC and Regal will require all guests and staff to wear face masks and practice proper social distancing.

AMC Theaters will reopen on August 20, and they will only be charging $0.15 per ticket on opening day.

“As part of AMC’s Centennial Celebration, all AMC U.S. theatre locations that open on August 20 will offer all available seats for all movies that day for the 1920’s admission price of 15 cents each (while offered on all available seats, to achieve social distancing overall seating capacity will be significantly reduced),” according to an AMC press release.

You can visit AMC’s website and Regal’s website to learn more details.
