With the way the world is, we can expect that the December holidays will all look a little different, and Disney World is no exception. Different Disney World holiday festivities will be canceled, but the park will still bring the magic of the holidays to its patrons.
“Building off of our recent experiences of operating in a new environment, we’ve reimagined the holidays which will, of course, apply our current health and safety measures while still keeping the joy and magic of the season,” accord to Disney Parks Blog. “And while things are looking a bit different at Walt Disney World and beyond, we can’t wait to celebrate with you.”
From November 6 to December 30, park-goers will enjoy holiday decorations; festive food and drink items; and themed entertainment at Disney World. Santa Claus is even set to make an appearance, according to the blog.
Things like the Candlelight Processional at Epcot and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be canceled this year in order to control crowd size amid COVID-19.
Disney Resorts will also join in on the holiday fun with elaborate decorations; however, the gingerbread displays will not be out this year. For more information about Disney World holiday festivities, visit Disney Parks Blog or Disney.com.
