The 2020 Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday Starts August 7

This year, the Florida 2020 Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday will take place from Friday, August 7, to Sunday, August 9!

This sales tax holiday allows you to purchase qualifying items exempt from tax. These items include school supplies, clothing, shoes and more. To download a list of qualifying items, click here!

Also, “the first $1,000 of the sales price of personal computers and certain computer-related accessories purchased for noncommercial home or personal use” will be exempt as well, according to the Florida Department of Revenue website.
